Mextapas Ltd ships premium artisanal mezcal to addresses within the United Kingdom only. This policy explains delivery options, costs, and what to expect.

1. Where we ship

We currently ship to addresses in mainland United Kingdom only. We do not ship to:

- Northern Ireland (under review)
- Channel Islands
- BFPO addresses
- International addresses
- PO Boxes

2. Delivery options and costs

All deliveries require a signature from someone aged 18 or over.

3. Order processing

Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends are processed the next business day. We do not dispatch on weekends or UK bank holidays.

4. Adult signature requirement

UK law requires that alcohol deliveries are signed for by someone aged 18 or over. If no eligible adult is present:

- The courier will leave a card with collection instructions
- A second delivery attempt may be made
- After two failed attempts, the parcel will be returned to us
- A redelivery fee may apply

5. Tracking your order

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email. You can follow your parcel's progress through the courier's tracking system.

6. Failed deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery (no valid adult signature, incorrect address, unclaimed), we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Redelivery costs are payable by you.

7. Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, refuse the delivery or contact us within 48 hours at contact@mextapas.co.uk with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

8. Restricted delivery situations

We cannot deliver to:

- Anyone visibly under 18
- Anyone who appears intoxicated
- Unattended addresses without a willing adult signature

In these cases, the parcel will be returned and treated as a failed delivery.
