Mezcal Artesanal, 70cl, 45% ABV

The Spirit of Rebellion. Mezcal as it was meant to be: smoky, untamed, and unapologetically bold.

Distilled at a family-run palenque in San Luis del Río, Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca, Somos Pecadores Espadín is made from 100% Agave Angustifolia, matured between 7 and 10 years before harvest. The agave hearts are cooked in conic stone ovens, crushed by traditional tahona, fermented in pine wood vats, and double distilled in copper.

Tasting notes

Crystal clear with silver hues. Mineral aromas and fresh herbs on the nose, with bright citrus notes. The palate is intense, mineral, with fresh grass and a slightly bitter finish of citrus peel.

How we serve it at our supper clubs

Neat, at room temperature, in a copita. Pairs naturally with smoky grilled meats, mole negro, and aged cheeses. We open this bottle alongside our chilli-forward courses.
